Tales from Topographic Oceans is a 1973 Yes album. It is the first studio album to feature Alan White. It was very controversial at the date of release because it was a double album consisting of only four songs, each clocking in at around 20 minutes. The album reached #1 in the UK. It also reached #6 in the U.S. during a chart stay of 27 weeks. In 1974, it was certified gold in both UK and US.
