Pulling Strings is a live album by Steve Howe. It was recorded live in Chicago and Minneapolis USA in Nov 1994, on this tour Howe played to backing tracks. "Rare Birds" is a version of the ABWH b -side "Vultures". "Windy And Warm" has no lyrics, but a few wordless vocals. "Classical Gas" was a live staple for Howe back in his earliest years with Yes.
After the end of "Classical Gas", track 9 includes Howe's introduction to track 10, "Turn Of The Century", in which he plays brief extracts from the other tracks on Going For The One in the order: "Going For The One", "Parallels" (with vocals), "Awaken", "Wonderous Stories" (with wordless vocals).
